I bring to any position the unique perspective and background of doing Generalist work as a HR professional and as a “down in the trenches” front line supervisor for several years in warehouse, production, and manufacturing environments. I have supervised as many as 50 direct reports at one time.
I have been responsible for employee relations, compensation, benefits, unemployment compensation, and safety for departments comprising several hundred employees. I acted as an Employee Advocate, member of Management, and a Change Agent to coach, counsel, and/or train operating managers on Conflict Resolution, Performance Management/Merit Reviews, EEO compliance, progressive discipline procedures, Unemployment and Workers Compensation Claims, Benefits and Compensation issues, and Recruitment/Staffing.
One of my accomplishments at We Energies was working on at least 20 EEO internal/external investigations that resulted in a finding of no merit for the Charges against the company on every one of those Charges. While at Rank Video, I solved that company’s largest Employee Relations problem.
