9/11 was a work-related event.
New York. Pennsylvania. DC.
People died at work, going to work, and doing work. Many lost colleagues. And the amazing first responders — who went above & beyond the call of duty — still suffer at the hands of our stupid political process.
And now, nearly a decade later, you are at work and talking about Osama Bin Laden.
And you might be talking about politics — or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — because many of you have family members who enlisted after 9/11 and during the Great Recession.
So I wonder — what are people talking about at work, today? Is it political? Is there a unifying sense of pride (or relief) in your office? What’s going on at work, today? What’s it like?
