Hey chumpstahs. What’s up?
I’m just back from a quick trip to Asheville, NC. We spent time kicking around town with a bunch of hippies. Then we took a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and saw mountains & waterfalls. But the best part of the trip was seeing the animals at the Biltmore Estate.
Now I’m home and I have a crazy week. I’m on a show called Career Clinic on Sunday at 4PM ET. Then I’ll be on Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane on Thursday at 11AM ET. You can hear the show on Sirius NPR, too. The premise of the show? “Is Business Casual an Oxymoron?” I cannot wait to talk about fashion and work. My goal is to somehow work in Amy Winehouse, Harry Potter, and Cabbage Patch Kids.
It all makes sense in my mind.
I’ll also be prepping for the Career Circus. I have two sessions: one where I am talking about passion at work (hooray) and another where I am interviewing Richard Cho on social recruiting strategies.
So that’s my week. Sorta. There’s other boring stuff: my job, my niece is moving (long story), and I need to find time to see my siblings. What’s up with you guys? What does your boring week look like? Are you doing anything fun?
Is anyone on a staycation, this week? I totally need one of those. I have a kitchen that needs to be painted.
